All I can say is HOT HOT HOT.........
It was a hot day, with hot bikes, in the compnay of hot women, with hot food, and cool friends and cold beer (and water). GREAT DAY Monkeys!!!!!!!! Glad to see the people I already knew, and happy to make more friends!!!!! Thanks to Brad and Lisa for hosting!!!!! Thanks to everyone for being there........ Sorry I caged it today, but I had a few too many last night and knew that it was going to be a miserably hot day..... Look forward to the pics and stories. I had a couple of people approach me about planning a ride in the mountians soon, and I will do that so keep your eyes open between now and the WV camp and ride! Thanks to everyone for being so friendly!!!!!!! What a great group, I'm proud to say I'm a Monkey Rider......

I also had a great day today. While I didn't work on my bike I actually learned quite a bit and am thaknkful to those willing to to take the time to tell me what they were doing. I did take pics but am too beat to post them tonight. It was too hot today! Thank you so much Brad and Lisa for hosting - you did a great job. Sorry I couldn't stick around for the pool portion of the party - maybe next time. I really enjoyed meeting so many people today, especially those who came from out of town. I agree with Woody - it is great to be a Monkey Rider.

I had a great time. I want to thank Brad and Lisa for hosting it. And Brad, thanks a bunch for all the help. I probably had to oldest and most in need of repair bike out there and you were very patient and helpful. Also I want to thank the guy who gave me and Pred8tr rides today. I hate to say I forgot his name, not sure if he reads the forums but Brad can pass on the message.
Glad to know where the leak on my bike is actually coming from. We got it patched up and it lasted a while but oil started leaking again on the ride home.
When I got home and checked the spot we patched the part I felt was bone dry, which is great. Though, I wonder if on closer inspection that I missed a spot with the JB Weld and it's leaking where I wasn't about to stick my finger while the engine was hot. I'll double check tomorrow.
I'll be off the bike for a while (hopefully no more than a couple of weeks), noticed that my riding permit expires today. I'll either have to get a learner's (possibly a license if they'll take my SC MSF card up here) for Virginia, or have my mother grab me a new updated copy from SC and mail it with my Battery Tender.
Dunno, but for now I'm going to take off the exhaust and find any more leaks if I can, mark them and take the bike (on a trailer) to some radiator/muffler shop and have them permanently weld the cracks.
After that I will have the fork seals replaced. And then I think the bike will be in good shape! I can start saving for my next set of tires.
Again, thanks to Brad, Lisa, my chauffer, anyone who stopped by and offered their two cents, anyone who I stood around and chatted with, thanks to everyone for making my first bike get together awesome!
I took a few pictures as well, I'll post them later. Right now I am exhausted and I'm pushing myself posting.

+1
Glad everyone is home safe after a long, hot, excellent day.
Lots of fun, for me despite the crankiness towards the end of the bike fixer upper, there was some succes for me though, it's running verrrrryyyyy nice!
The pool was just what I needed at the end, and everyone's hospitality was exceptionally generous, and if my lotto numbers came through
you will all be receiving new bikes and a plane ticket to a monkey meet in Costa Rica..
Pics to come later, today was for sinning and tomorrow I will seek forgiveness (Church w/ Dualsport and others, then a ride afterwards to Lake Anna?)
Must go to beeeee

Sorry, Dixie - probably not the hot women pics you are looking for, but I did manage to fire off a couple of shots yesterday. Thanks to Brad and Lisa for the great time and thanks for all that came out to the pool party.

Thanks go out to Brad and Lisa for opening up their house for us. It was fun guys.
Definitely thank you neighbors for putting up with us. And next time, I'll disconnect someones throttle cable so they can't rev their engine.

Huge thanks to Brad and Lisa! That was a great event even though all I did was clean my chain and bake in the sun. Sorry I didn't make it out to the after-party.

Seriously - A BIG THANKS and more thumbs than I have up to Brad and Lisa for hosting and putting this event together. This was THE most awesome experience. Awesome crowd and everything.
Sorry I didn't get around to meet everyone, or maybe I did....I'll have to check the "name and picture" thread to jog my memory.
Also a big thanks to SuperChickenCorner Monster. ( I think he was the dirtiest one there hahaha) he helped out a lot of people do some major work, including me. My bike feels much better now and it was a fun, but STIFF - ride home (Centreville and Alexandria) - oh and we got caught in some type of rain patch - FYI rain hurts at 85 mph lol. Still didn't get my radiator flushed....so I had to make the 80+ mile trip back with 3.5 liters of coolant in my backpack hahahah UGH.
We all met up in Centreville, Me, SCCM, John and Troy (I think his name was Troy), I suck at names. SuperChickenCornerMonster also had a planned route that took the four of us on some insane roads (insane to me atleast) I watched SCCM take the first corner, about 8 inches from the ground hahahah and that was last I saw of him....those signs that say S 30mph hahah yea right. I leaned my bike over the furthest I've leaned it to date like once lol, but I was still taking the curves at my highest speed yet...about 60mph so I was still leanin' a lot lol. A nice straight away I was able to get up to about 115mph - fastest to date. It was really funny when we all BLEW by the Sheriff's house lol, the Sheriff police car was parked in his yard and we flew by at triple digits lol.
I took a lot of pics...some mapping our way there and others while at Xprslane's house. I'll put them up later...it's 10am, I got about 10 hours of sleep and I'm still hurting lol.
Oh and the trip there put me over 10,000 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (1600 of them are actually mine) bought the bike with 8400 already on it.
pics coming soon. Gotta make breakfast for the misses
PS - wait until you see my rear sprocket compared to Gixxerboy's rear sprocket...WOW ( SCCM performed two 520 conversion kits, mine and Gixxerboy's)
